The ISSDP laboratory is included in the project on creating a digital platform and introduction of advanced technologies at the Roskar Poultry Factory
The head of the ISSDP laboratory Marina Bolsunovskaya became one of the key participants in the SPbPU working group, which will begin working on a digital platform for advanced production technologies in the egg and meat poultry farming developed within the framework of the Leningrad Region project on industrial leadership in the agro-industrial complex.
The cooperation agreement between SPbPU, the Government of the Leningrad Region and Roskar Poultry Farm JSC was signed on November 28, 2019. The document outlines the basics of interaction between the parties and is aimed at the development and implementation of projects and initiatives in the field of digital transformation and the introduction of new production technologies in the agricultural sector. The agreement was signed by the rector of SPbPU Andrey Rudskoi, Governor of the Leningrad Region Alexander Drozdenko, and Director General of the Roskar Poultry Factory Roman Smirnov.
The main tasks formulated in the agreement are the development of an information and analytical system, software and hardware of a digital platform and the actual conduct of molecular genetic testing. Besides the ISSDP laboratory, the staff of the Research Laboratory of Mathematical Biology and Bioinformatics, SPbPU Institute of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics led by Maria Samsonova will also contribute to the achievement of the goals set.
The tasks are supposed to be implemented on the basis of the SPbPU National Technology Initiative Center for Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, the foremost Russian center for the development of solutions world-class high-tech products using new manufacturing technologies and cross-industry multidisciplinary competencies of SPbPU engineers and scientists and members of the project consortium.
SPbPU Vice-Rector for Advanced Projects, Head of the SPbPU NTI Center Alexey Borovkov will direct the implementation of the agreement on the SPbPU part, while Dmitry Garanin, Director of the Research Laboratory for Strategic Development of Engineering Markets of the SPbPU NTI Center, and Deputy Director Vladislav Balsky will coordinate the work on interaction between the parties within the framework of the agreement.

All this also contributes to the economic and food security of the region and the country as a whole.”
